Carina Goorye graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2016. She has been employed at Barker Physiotherapy since 2018, with a brief four-month stint in Northern Ireland in 2022, where she furthered her knowledge, skills, and techniques.
Carina completed her postgraduate course in Dry Needling and Tapping in 2017 and has also completed her advanced training in Orthopaedic Manipulation Therapy. Additionally, Carina has a special passion for working with patients in the Intensive Care Unit at Life Robinson Private Hospital in Randfontein.
In her leisure time, Carina enjoys hiking and going to the gym to maintain her fitness and health. She firmly believes that physiotherapists play a crucial role in enhancing people’s quality of life, advocating for a compassionate and holistic approach to patient care.
